The Housey Chrome Extension ("Extension") helps you save real estate listings to your Housey account. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.

• Google Account Information: When you sign in with Google, we collect your email, name, and profile picture to authenticate your Housey account
• Property Listings: URLs, titles, prices, addresses, and property details from real estate websites you choose to save
• Usage Data: Which board and lane you save listings to, timestamps of saves

Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not track your browsing history beyond the real estate sites where the extension is active
• We do not collect personal financial information
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising

How We Use Your Data

• Authentication: To verify your identity and connect to your Housey account
• Core Functionality: To save property listings to your selected boards
• Service Improvement: To fix bugs and improve the extension experience

Data Storage

• Your data is stored securely in Google Firebase/Firestore
• Authentication tokens are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's secure storage API
• Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Google Firebase: For authentication and data storage (covered by Google's Privacy Policy)

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data through the Housey web application
• Delete your data by deleting your Housey account

• If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently deleted within 30 days

The Extension is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
